A reliability-sensitive internal application made state management and enterprise delivery part of the same design problem.

Lab1886 needed an internal iOS application for process optimization with mission-critical reliability requirements. In that setting, predictable behavior mattered more than ornamental abstraction, while enterprise deployment strategies and multiple stakeholders placed operational constraints around otherwise ordinary mobile engineering decisions.
I architected and implemented the application, including a unidirectional data-flow library that made state transitions consistent and easier to reason about. The work also involved navigating enterprise deployment and stakeholder expectations. It reinforced a principle I still use: for operational software, explicit state is not merely an implementation preference. It creates a shared model for engineers, product owners, and operators to discuss what the system can do and how it fails.
